Life's A Mere Blink!

A fleeting few days our lifespan,

This, in brief, is the story of Man.

For a moment we seem to appear,

Only to be quickly taken from here.

Perhaps these words I might say

When on Earth arrives my last day:

“A mere blink of an eye here I spent,

This being the time that I was lent."

Life's very short; and this poem is too.

With too many words why burden you?
