As if Earth’s Owners

Oh how they swagger, see how they dare,

As if the greatest, far beyond compare,

Thinking all that’s on Earth is theirs,

That they’re its owners, its royal heirs,

Presuming they can do what they please,

Refusing to admit their vile heart disease.

Thus deluded see what havoc they wreak,

But soon from themselves safety they’ll seek,

For into death’s waiting arms swiftly they race,

Not knowing what they’ll face is sheer disgrace,

And then at their own deeds they’ll be aghast,

At the evil they did while on Earth in the past.

How they’ll wail, oh how bitterly they’ll weep

On then being made a bitter harvest to reap

(This reaping all leaving here must perform,

None being an exception to this great norm).

Ah then how they’ll howl and claim to regret,

But the decree must prevail once it’s been set.

The Lord of all watches, the Great All-Seeing,

Letting them do as they like for the time being,

But when He ordains for their stay here to end,

Ah with what all they’ll then have to contend!
