Conversations With God & Me, My Self (1)

Our life it’s You who design,
Every dot, comma and line.
Our fear into Your heart assume
And free us thus from this gloom.
Leave it to Me and move on,
Do what you have to till you’re gone.
It’s for a short while you are here,
Till Death’s messenger does appear,
Then, from here off you’ll go,
It’s for a short while, please know.
“I love you, My child.”
“I am fully aware of the situation. I know your past experiences. I am responsible for your peace of mind. I am responsible for your safety. Can you imagine if a baby were thrown into a river and left to swim across somehow or drown? I am, and have to, hold you up.”
“I will not let one moment of yours be wasted.”
“Each You place where You wish. Each life’s story unique You write. I know it’s only in surrendering to You that one can be at peace and in unruffable (is there a word like that?) joy. True, lasting peace can only be had that way. And this surrender isn’t just a means; it’s also a goal, an end in itself. Am I wrong in saying that? Or, is it that the only goal is, or should be, You, and surrender is the means for us to ‘have’ You, as it were?”
“Thank You, God, for blessing me with a Kindle Reader. Thank You for enabling so many good books to be made easily available through Kindle Unlimited. Please bless Chinku, who co-sponsored the Kindle Reader and who has been so sweetly paying for the Kindle Unlimited subscription, month after month. Please bless all the many people who have made their beautiful books, based on conversations with You or listening to You, available on Kindle Unlimited, because of which I have been able to access them.”
“Lord, today, so much precious time was squandered on brooding, on negative thinking, on rehearsing or anticipating fears…Please lead this never to happen again. Make me to be, and always to remain, in full, perfect submission to, and communion with, You. “
In it, Lord, tell me, what did I do?
I think it was all done by You!
No deed I did, not a single one,
By You, my Lord, it was all done,
For Your own reason that I don’t know,
Yes, I think, Lord, that it was truly so!
Not a thing did I choose, all You had set,
Every small turn in life I’ve so far met,
It’s been so so far, and will stay that way
Till when from here You take me away.
“If I focus on some of Your great blessings and stop focusing on my real or imaginary problems, I can be happy in the present moment. My purpose should be to enjoy Your presence, and not to have You solve my problems, real or imaginary. If I’ve truly handed over charge of my life to You, I needn’t bother to ask You to please solve my problems: Which good parent would want their little child to handle really tough and dangerous situations on their own and not rush to their rescue?”
“If you go wayward, it reflects on My parenting.”
“Focus on doing what pleases Me, and cease worrying about your problems, real and hypothetical. You do the work you have to do, and let Me handle all the rest. You focus on things that please Me. Keep doing so, come what may. Say, ‘God, I know You are handling this issue. I know that You are blessing me with the best.’ You agree that I am more powerful than your problems. But do you say that I’m of greater concern to you than your problems?”
“Try to focus on some joyful times you may have had.”
“Think of your blessings.”
“God is to be enjoyed. You have to enjoy God’s company, enjoy His presence. You have to be delighted in being in His presence. I am going to live in the joy and relief of You knowing all about me.”
