It’s enough for me just this to know

This one basic fact, that it’s truly so

That it’s You alone who get deeds done,

And other than You, doer there’s none.

It’s You who cause vast planets to whirl

And unseen electrons to constantly swirl.

It’s You who thinks every single thought,

And by You alone are all deeds wrought.

It’s You who listens to all sounds heard,

It’s You who alone utters every word.

In this Your mindboggling cosmic play,

All deeds that get done are Your display.

You plan them all and make them occur,

You’re Sole Doer, this fact I have to aver.

Ah such a blessing, one that’s most true,

That all deeds done are done just by You!
