Poetic Reflections: “Now You!”

For almost sixty years now,

While in this present body-mind complex,

I have thought my thoughts,

I have spoken my words,

I have done my deeds.

And You know what these have yielded.

 

And so, I ask You now:

 

“Please think my thoughts,

Please speak my words,

Please do my deeds

For me.”

 

No, better still:

 

“Please think Your thoughts,

Please speak Your words,

Please do Your deeds

Through me.”
