As Clear as the Sun!: Proof of God’s Existence

I sit out in the garden in a chair

Under the afternoon sun’s glare.

Sunshine pours down on my face.

This just has to be Divine grace!

Ah what a great blessing is the sun!

Without it, life here there’d be none.

How freely its light and heat it gives

To every creature that on Earth lives,

With no cost, not charging even a bit,

Praise the Lord and thank Him for it!

Penning these lines, I ask how and why

This fireball found its place in the sky.

The process by which it thus came to be

Surely’s a great miracle, so plain to see,

For no mere mortal, human or otherwise,

Could’ve invented a hot star of that size

And put it in the sky at a distant exact

Needed for life on Earth: a proven fact,

Were it close, it would’ve been too cold

To host life on Earth, so science has told.

Were it distant, it would’ve been so hot

That chance of life here would be naught.

This means that a great supernatural Force

Created the sun and made it run its course.

It's impossible that anyone else could dare

Fashion the sun and place it high up there.

Nor could it be (unlike as some folks claim)

That by chance or on its own it there came.

It's obvious it's been intentionally designed,

This accomplished by a grand cosmic Mind.

All this is clear proof, sure, firm evidence,

Of God’s existence and of His providence.
