Thank You For Letting Me Know!

Should I take You at Your word?

This from You I think I heard:

“I am with you”, You seemingly said,

Ah, and I rose, as if, from the dead

On hearing this, being thus assured.

I believe You fully, yes my Lord.

These words often You reiterate,

And in my mind they reverberate.

You’re with me always, this I know,

Wherever it is that I may go.

What else, then, could I need?

It’s all I could ask for indeed.

I lived to fear and feared to live,

But now this promise You did give,

And so, I hope I can in peace abide,

Knowing You’re always by my side,

Always with me, right till the end,

To my every need present to attend,

Holding my hand with grip firm,

And saying these words to affirm

That with me You are, and always so,

Thank You, Lord, for letting me know!
