Fully Mad!

It’s a situation most bizarre

If we forget who we are

And think us someone else to be,

As for long happened with me,

This being the case for most of us,

As I will here go on to discuss.

We’re the Divine, truly, in fact,

The One Sole Being, to be exact,

Who in forms diverse appears

On Earth and all other spheres,

But this great truth we forgot

As this untruth we were taught,

That we’re each a person, on our own,

Thus, a sense of separate self was sown,

Right from when we were small,

This being believed by almost all,

Being trained to think from the start

Each to be from the rest apart.

This illusion we felt was right,

So, this fact fled from our sight,

That all of us are just the One,

In our minds, this was undone,

And this we most firmly thought,

That we were what we were not,

Seeing ourselves as friends and foes,

Hence, this fact hardly anyone knows,

That this is just a mere cosmic game,

And actually, we’re all the One, the same.

If madness means to lose full touch

With who and what we are as such,

Then it’s true, a fact that's very sad,

That almost all of us are fully mad!
