Where I’m From

Where I’m from you want to know.
I wish I could clearly tell you so.
But the truth is, I have to say,
That I can’t think of any way
To say where I am for sure.
What, then, can I say more?
On Planet Earth I now roam,
But this I can’t call my home.
This is just a 'wandering-place',
And soon from here off I'll race.
Before compelled to come here,
On this earthly plane to appear,
Maybe I was in some other sphere:
Perhaps I’m from there, my dear!
