You Alone Can

There’s a vacuum in every heart

That You alone can make depart,

A deep chasm only You can fill,

Making our anguish to fall still.

Nothing else can play that role,

To mend us and make us whole,

By ourselves we can’t do this task,

So, to You we must turn and ask,

“Please cure our great emptiness,

For, it's You we need, nothing less.”
