You Do It, For My Sake!

They say that we must surrender

Unto You, ourselves fully render,

And accept whatever's Your will,

Keeping our own will firmly still.

“Thy will alone, Lord, not mine”:

This in theory sounds very fine,

But just how this should we do,

This surrender You tell us to?

This my dilemma please clarify,

In a manner that’ll fully satisfy

My need to know how I should

Surrender to You for my good.

By myself this I can’t seem to do,

So, do it for me, please will You?

The effort seems much to make,

So, You do it, please, for my sake!
