Even in Hell One Can Be in Heaven!

I’ve been made here to dwell,
In this dark and gloomy Hell.
Where from here now can I go?
I've no idea, I just don’t know!
Â
In this cosmos, big and wide,
Who for me did this decide
That in this Hell I should be,
Ordaining such a fate for me?
Â
Tell me, what should I do?
Complain and my state rue,
And also this loudly declare:
'This world is most unfair!'?
No! My lot I just won’t fight,
In fact, I know that it’s right,
For this I’ve now understood:
I'm here now for my own good.
Â
This fact also I now know well:
That even if one's in sheer Hell,
Into Heaven Hell one can turn
If one is willing this to discern,
And this great secret to find:
Both are mere states of mind,
So that wherever we may be
It’s within our own capacity
To live in Heaven or in Hell,
Our mind there can us propel.
Â
One may be in Heaven or Hell,
But next moment, who can tell?
It depends on what we choose,
On how we our own minds use,
So that even in Hell one can be
In Heaven’s realm for eternity.
