See those brothers busy at war,

What now are they fighting for?

For just a mere patch of land,

Each insistent on their stand,

Each claiming the Lord gave

It to them as personal enclave,

For them to rule, to forever own,

Hatred’s vile seed thus was sown,

And all this done in God’s Name,

(Across the world much the same),

Ah the hate, spite, scorn, disdain

That drove them all quite insane!

In God’s Name how they spread

Strife and war, vast numbers dead!

Foolish brothers, kindred folks,

Drop now your self-made hoax.

The land you claim is your own,

The owner thereof is God alone.

Your lies in pious guise forsake:

See them all now to be just fake.

God's Name they so badly defiled,

Brothers dear, be now reconciled.

The same womb you all did bear,

For your kinship don’t you care?

This madness of yours now cease,

And live in peace forever, please.

Our life here's anyway so brief,

Why waste it in war and grief?

In hate you live, but why die in it?

To love and joy yourselves commit.

Come, to the Lord now let us pray,

And these few words together say:

"Out of darkness lead us to rise,

And our oneness may we realise."
