Are You with us, do You care,

Concerned for how we fare,

Holding us as we pass through

Earth’s realm, decreed by You?

Amidst such unspeakable pain,

How many can stay truly sane?

Only if You’re firmly by our side

Can we dare to boldly stride,

With no worry, with not a fear,

In peace, knowing You’re near,

Nearer than the breaths we take,

Sure that us You’ll never forsake.

If this Your presence You assure,

What could we ever ask for more?
