Joy or Sorrow, They All Lie Inside!

With myself (and whoever might hear)

Let me share a few words mere:

If you want to be happy or sad,

To wallow in misery or be glad,

If you reflect enough, you will find

That it’s just a question of your mind.

It all depends on what you choose:

To be happy, or your joy to lose.

No matter what conditions prevail,

This one thing just can’t ever fail:

The choice remains always with you,

To be glad or sad, as you want to.

To bubble with joy or burn with hate,

You choose what you want as your fate.

Following your mind’s demands,

You can be just as it commands.

It’s all a question of what you decide,

For joy or sorrow, they all lie inside!
