Just Travelers Passing Through

We’re just travelers passing through

This Planet Earth as arranged by You.

For a short while here we’ll traverse,

Then soon we’ll all have to disperse.

A brief journey here we’ll undergo,

This one fact we should well know,

Just a few days, maybe less or more,

A really short visit that we’re here for.

May our journey be safe and sound,

As long as on this Earth we’re around.

When our destination we finally reach,

The end that’s appointed for us each,

May we joyfully this fervently acclaim,

In these words or somewhat the same:

“Well worth it was for us to undertake

This journey to Earth for its own sake,

And since throughout we tried our best,

May we now go on to our eternal rest!”
