May All I Do is Chant Your Name

May all I do is chant Your Name,

If in this I fail, me You can blame,

But all other deeds You please do,

I hand this task fully over to You.

Do through ‘my’ body and mind

Deeds appropriate that You find.

Do with them just as You please

Till from Earth You grant release,

So that the balance in my account

Of deeds will in the end amount

To nothing but what I might gain

From chanting Your name again and again.
