What Decides Who’s Born Where?

How’s it decided who’ll be born where,

A crucial factor shaping how we’ll fare?

Is it mere chance, with no logic at all,

Or a ‘past-life record’, what they call,

Or, some sort of great Divine decree

Deciding where whose birth will be?

Theories aplenty we humans propound

About this issue that’s most profound,

But can we know the answer for sure,

Or, will it be a mystery for all time more?
