My caste and creed you want to know.

“I’ve none of these,” I tell you so.

“How” you ask “could this be?

These are your basic identity.”

“Not for me!” I say in reply.

Let me explain to you why.

I, by which I mean The Soul,

Am a tiny particle of The Whole,

Or, in other words, The Divine.

That’s the identity that's truly mine.

The Divine, or ‘God’ you can call,

The One Progenitor of us all,

Has no caste, nor any creed,

So, these I also don’t need.

If God has no caste, nor creed as well,

Then this I can most confidently tell,

That neither do I, for the plain fact is,

I’m a particle of God, or a child of His.

God has no caste or creed, and so,

To your question, I must say “No,

I have no caste, nor creed too.”
