Oh This Leaping From Your Chair!

When a rich man appears, he leaps from his chair,
When I pass by, I say, ‘Please keep sitting there’,
‘I’m no big person’, in a friendly tone I say,
‘So, don’t stand up when I come your way.
We’re all God’s children, none big or small,
And God looks with an equal eye at us all.
So, when you see me, don’t leap to your feet,
Keep sitting, and still each other we can greet.’
When I say these words, he breaks into a smile,
He nods in delight and is very glad for a while,
Being treated as a fellow, deserving of respect,
(This being something he didn’t quite expect)
But when I leave and a rich man will appear,
He’ll again leap to his feet, driven so by fear.

Good, surely all are unique and the manifestation of god himself
