Reflections

1.   Ideologies are a mix of error and truth.

2.   No ideology is error-free.

3.   The absurdities and falsities of an ideology are often easily apparent to its deniers but not to its proponents. In that sense, the former know its reality better than the latter.

4.   If as an adult your views on basic things remain identical to that of your parents, it possibly only shows that you haven’t evolved.

5.   There is no higher ‘religion’ than kindness.

6.                   Conversing with God within oneself and doing as God tells—that is all the ‘religion’ that one needs.

7.                   To discover the Divine within is to discover the presence of God within us. It does not mean that we are God or that God is us.

8.                   If God dwells everywhere, including in all beings, how can someone be ‘closer’ to God than somebody else? It’s only a question of being more aware of the fact of God’s closeness, not a question of actually being closer to God.

 9.                   God has sent us here to flourish, not to rot and stagnate.
