The Joy of Non-Doing

Do only what you really should,

Anything beyond just isn’t good.

More than that there’s no need,

No, not even a tiny extra deed.

Sometimes, stop doing and just be.

I know in your work you are busy,

But do yourself this great favour:

Non-doing’s joy sometimes savour.

It is a good thing to just be if you have nothing to do which is worthwhile
