Their Invention, a Phantom Mere!

Their invention, a phantom mere,

In Beelzebub’s name oh what fear!

Vast millions they drove fully mad,

By talk of Lucifer, angel turned bad.

The tales of the Devil that they said,

Oh how many they thereby misled,

And in this way made them submit

Abjectly, to their most unholy writ.

With Satan’s fear them they fooled,

And over their minds sternly ruled.

Ah what havoc, with their lies of old,

All sheer fiction—no truth they told!
