Food for Thought

· There is a transcendental purpose to our being in this earthly realm.
· Our life on Earth is temporary, but it has a purpose that stretches into eternity.
· Human beings are at best temporary custodians of Earth, certainly not its owners.
· The Energy that drives us to act is the same Energy that is causing the already infinite universe to constantly further expand, and that, too, at an ever-increasing speed.
· Birth and death, with just a few moments in between. That, basically, is the storyline of our life here, on Earth.
· Death is release from the confines of the physical body.
· Be a spectator-participant in the World Drama.
· Life is meant to be gently savoured, not rushed through.
· If you were not meant to be now where you are now, you wouldn’t be there now.
· Do only what you have to.
· A bad habit is best dropped if replaced with a good one.
· Don’t simply criticize someone for a bad habit. Instead, show them the possibility of a better one that could take its place.
· Waiting builds patience, even though sometimes it may feel excruciatingly painful.
· You don’t know what goodness might lie under a seeming hard exterior of a person.
· Interacting with someone always entails a risk, for you can’t know how they might behave, but, overall, it’s a risk worth taking.
· One small act or expression of genuine concern for a person can change their whole attitude towards us.
· Respond to requests for help as soon as you can.
· Don’t delay in doing good.
· Self-care is distinct from self-indulgence.
· Success is simply this: To be and do just as God directs.
· Respect a person for who and what they are, not merely for the position they hold.
· Giving away things that you don’t like or need is not charity. It is simply disposing off unwanted stuff, lightening your load, clearing the clutter.
· Share with others things you like.
· Be useful to others (including non-humans) wherever you are.
