Each claims to enjoy Your special favor,

Saying that in this You'll never waver.

To be Your favourite all of them pretend,

Foul lies about You they stoutly defend.

Ah the horrors all these lies have spread!

The many millions they have long misled!

When will You grant Your world release

From lies in Your name, this vile disease?
