So, You I Ask, Could You Please Explain…

Lord, to this Your world You sent me.

It’s You who did so as far as I can see.

Why You decided perhaps only You know.

You must have had a purpose in doing so.

I have no idea at all as to why.

No guess I may make can satisfy

My urge to know why You sent me here,

To Earth, to spend a few years mere.

So, You I ask, could you please explain

Why You sent me to this Earthly plane,

The purpose that there must be

That You have here set for me?

And also, please tell me each new day,

And each new moment as it comes my way,

What I should do and how I should be,

So that I have the needed clarity

To spend it in the way most pleasing to You,

Being and doing just as You want me to.
