'Thanks For Being My Child'

Maybe He said this to His child:

‘“Thanks” is a word just too mild

For Me to be able to fully express

The debt that I owe to you, no less,

For the great joy that I've received

In causing you to be conceived

And brought into this world here,

As My very own child to appear,

So that as your Parent I could be,

Thanks for doing all this for Me!

True it is that were it not for you,

Without all this joy I’d have to do.

Had you not been by My side,

This bliss I’d have been denied!”’
