1.   Turn receiving an insult into an occasion for giving a blessing.

2.   In school, they trained us to be informed, not wise.

3.   If you get the chance to do a good deed, don’t leave it for someone else to do—do it yourself.

4.   Stand up for truth and righteousness.

5.   Look the bully in the eye.

6.   Lift others up; don’t put yourself down.

7.   Loving is among the best things one could ever do.

8.   Always follow the guidance of the Inner Voice.

9.   What you have to do will be given to you to do. You don’t have to struggle to find it.

10.                   Don’t let even what you may regard as a ‘minor’ opportunity to do good or to grow go by without availing it.

11.                   You don’t know what greater good a ‘little’ act of goodness might lead to.

12.                   Openly and warmly express your appreciation of something good about a person or something they may have done.

13.                   The particular set of challenges one faces is part of the context in which one is supposed to live and grow.

14.                   It costs one nothing to smile, but it can gain for one a lot.

15.                   Expressing gratitude is at the basis of good manners.

16.                   If you’d rather live elsewhere than where you presently are, ask God to arrange to send you there. Your prayer might well be granted.

17.                   Success is a process, consisting of several little steps, little milestones traversed, one by one.

18.                   Side with the marginalized, including by prayer.

19.                   Compile your own ‘scripture’: stuff that God tells you.

20.                   What you can easily do yourself don’t make a habit of getting someone else to do for you.
