What a Great Blessing!

Doing really nothing, sitting in my chair,

And of Your presence trying to be aware,

Passing time silently, not making a sound,

Knowing You’re with me, and all around.

It's just for a period that's really quite brief,

But enough to give me much-needed relief,

Reminding me again that You are with me,

Now, as always, wherever I happen to be.

What a great blessing this little time to spend,

Every now and then Your presence to attend,

Sitting in my chair, with nothing else to do

But being for a while in company with You!
