Why Do Things Happen As They Do?

Why do things happen as they do?

Is it because You make them to?

Is this the true way to explain

All Your world’s joy and pain,

And all else that happens here,

In Your infinite cosmic sphere?

Might it actually be that behind

All happenings here is Your Mind,

And You will them to come to be,

Manifesting thereby Your decree?

All that’s said here who but You

Knows for sure if it’s really true?

I hope it is but I just can’t be sure,
