Why Should I?

To none of their isms shall I be bound,

They just aren’t true, this I have found.

To submit to any, why should I agree?

I refuse to in this way become unfree.

They may claim, as many of them do,

That they’ve been sent for Man by You,

And that Your very Word they represent,

But to this wild claim I will not consent.

For, I know this talk of theirs is only fake,

So, I reject the false claim that they make.

Why should I foolishly myself by them bind,

When within myself directly You I can find?
