You Surely Will!

Our pain from us, Lord, please now take,

Yes, You’ll do it for Your children’s sake,

For You know well our heart’s anguish,

Our wellbeing, we know, You do cherish.

You sent us here for a purpose grand,

To spend a while here on Earth’s land,

Not to live in constant fear and woe,

But in You for us to thrive and grow.

And so, to You we place this request:

Please take our pain and give us rest,

With simple joy our hearts please fill,

Grant this our plea, You surely will!
