·       Enjoy the products of other people’s creativity but also contribute to others through products of your own creativity.


·       We need to invest time, attention and emotions in a relationship if we want it to keep going. It’s like a plant that requires careful tending, being given regular and abundant sunshine, nutrients and water to grow.


·       A good measure of how much we truly value a person and our relationship with them is the amount of time, attention and emotions we give to them.


·       One of the greatest contributions you can make to the world is to share with others lessons you have learnt from your own life.


·       How easily we can forget or overlook the good done to us by someone just because they do one thing to us that we don’t like!


·       Sometimes, when you see a person materially poorer than you, someone who lives a tougher life, visualize, even for just a short while, yourself in their place, looking like them, doing the work that they do.


·       If we don’t thank others for favours received from them, we may soon stop receiving favours.


·       If you habitually do for others what they can easily do for themselves, you may do them a disservice.


·       Gradually and gently, prepare your children for the roles they may need to take on as adults.


·       Help your children learn the importance of silence. Observe a few minutes of silence with them every day.


·       Improve your parenting skills by learning from the experiences and insights of other parents.


·       If your child is suffering from an emotional ailment, maybe you are the first person who needs treatment.


·       Seek and respect your child’s opinion for decisions concerning them.


·       After your child has reached a certain age, involve them in the making of decisions concerning the entire family.


·       Pray for your children, and let them see and hear you doing so.
