·       Don’t give in charity only things you don’t want.

·       Giving from out of one’s material wealth is only one form of charity and not always the most appropriate or important form.

·       Give gracefully, receive gratefully.

·       Inherited wealth can sometimes be a bane, not a boon.

·       Just a little thoughtfulness, a little awareness, and one can do many good things for others.

·       Relating with others is a fine art, training for which should begin in infancy, at home, and then in school.

·       Every now and then, if not whenever you get the chance, take your child to listen to, or, better still, meet, people who are doing good things with their life and making a mark in different worthy fields. Children need to be exposed to good role-models.

·       Not every good deed you can do is meant for you to do. It may be meant for someone else.

·       Sheer laziness is sometimes the principal cause of a drab, uninspiring life.

·       Do all the good you can but don’t keep an account of all the good you do.

·        If we get accustomed to people doing things for us, we might become unable to do things for ourselves.

·       The less conscious we are of ourselves, the freer and closer we can be with others.
